At long last, the floor is complete; The builders finished it off yesterday and we had to leave it to set overnight. It’s strange just how much you come to miss the simple things in life… like being able to make a cup of tea when you want.
So yeah… at long last it’s all sorted out. Hopefully this building won’t do anything ‘weird’ again (touch wood).
I’m not sure what it is with this bloody building I live in, whether it’s haunted, jinxed or just really badly built… but yesterday we suffered two totally seperate issues with our water supply.
Not only were we without water for an entire day due to a leak in the main distribution hub in the back garden of our complex, we also suffered the other extreme of having a flood in the main hallway of our building. Bloody typical!
Luckily, we managed to sort out all the issues we had yesterday and are only having to limit the amount of water we use due to a water limitation that has been placed on us while we wait for the water system out back to be fully repaired.
So… off to the gym for a shower then!
I’ve decided… I don’t like water. Fetch me some wine!
