A new floor… at last!

17 07 2008

If you have read my previous entries, you’ll know that our building has a habbit of flooding every now and then. While it’s great fun for the kids and fellow gay boys (we get to watch the firemen play with their hoses), it’s not much fun for  our floors (and sometimes ceilings) as they need to be replaced.

After about 5 months of living with a rather cracked and creaky floor, today we get a new one put in! WOO! It’ll be a solid wood (oak… I think!) floor laid down in a herringbone design… which is this:

So, what sort of things do you have to do to your flat before you can put a nice new floor down… well, this should give you a better idea of what we’ll have to live with for a few days!

Our Kitchen is in there somewhere!

Well, I’ll post messages up here to let you know if there is any trouble… I just wish they’d hurry up and get here!

Noisy Neighbours!

13 07 2008

We have new neighbours in our development. They’re scum. They are noisy… irritating and… well… NOISY!!!!! I’m going to have to do the whole ‘logging’ thing so I can follow the official reporting procedures the council require.

*SIGH*
Another bother in this bloody building… if it isn’t flooding it’s thumping!
