It usually doesn’t take me very much to run to the cinema to catch the latest Super-hero movie. Batman, Superman, Spiderman… I love them all. Perhaps it’s the lycra, or maybe the inner-child in me screaming for some attention. I don’t think I’ll ever know. However, Hancock had me in a bit of a stalemate. I haven’t heard any good reviews about it (and I usually bank on word-of-mouth), but equally… I haven’t heard any bad reviews about it either.
So because of the flooring issues, B and I went off to watch Hancock.
Well… it was ok. Not brilliant, not awe inspiring and certainly not a masterpiece. It’s a one-off, not something a franchise could be built out of. Go see it for a laugh, but don’t expect much else.
Wall-E is better!

B and I went to the cinema last night to watch Wall-E, the new Pixar animation movie!
I’m in love with a robot! It’s soooooo cute! You have to go and see it at the cinema… DO NOT wait for this to go to DVD, you’ll loose the effect!
Just to show you how CUTE Wall-E is, here’s a picture!

We’ve all heard the hype and excitement about the release of Mamma Mia, the Movie. I went to see it tonight with one of my chorus friends and just wanted to comment about poor Pierce Brosnan.
Pierce, hunny, sweetheart… stick to the action adventure movies. You were not meant to be singing and flapping about for us gay-boys! One word… ‘laugh-ability’… you had the whole audience in stitches when we really shouldn’t have been… especially in this scene:

Fabulous movie though… really recommend it. I’ll be going again with Bryan so he can see it as well.
