So at long last, we’re on our way to Edinburgh, and with any luck we should be there in about 3 hours. We’re in First Class again, purely because of two things:

1) We’re snobs
2) There aren’t any screaming kids in First Class.

It’s mostly the second  point.

So… because I’m bored… here’s me on the train

and here’s Bryan…

Just a quick piccy of B and I from a few days ago.

I went out for dinner and drinks this evening with Laura and Bryan. Laura is an ex work colleague of Bryan’s… and she’s really lovely to hang about with. 

They were both a very bad influence though and I managed to work my way through a bottle of wine and a large whiskey and coke (go figure!!!). Dinner was nice though, we went to Bistro1 and had the whole 3 course thing… with more wine!

Gillian, Bryan’s sister is down in London for the weekend. Always good to see her and we usually do something touristy when people come to visit… this trip was no exception.

We did Brighton this time, which was good fun. It’s a lovely little city, and the Pier was really good. Shame the wind was up as we didn’t get to do everything in ‘the amusements’ that we wanted. Still… Bumper Cars, Log Flume, Horror House and a really fast whirly gig thing… we had a good time.

I just wish I wasn’t sick… I’m sure I’d have enjoyed the whole trip more!
