So the workers came yesterday to start fixing the floor. Ofcourse there had been confusion as to what it was they were supposed to be doing… fix bits of the floor vs. replace the whole thing. In the end, we all decided that we would fix bits of the floor. Quicker! Of course, Muki, the owner of the Parquet Flooring company will be charging the Insurance company for the full lift and replacement… because he’s a sheister.

So this is the floor and downstairs as of last night….

As you can see… the flat is a tip! Hopefully, after today we’ll get the flat back into a livable space tomorrow! So Bryan and I are heading out today to get haircuts and eat food on Upper Street (Islington)
