The weather has finally returned to its full burning glory!!!!

After getting up a little late, we wondered down to the ‘breakfast’ place and had a full english (bad I know), and then had a walk along the Promenade where Bryan remembered going when he was younger. The view from the cliff at the top of the hill at the end of the prom was amazing, pics to follow in the gallery… and memories of youthful moments came back to Bryan in full force.
It was unbearably hot though, so we made a hasty retreat to the hotel for our swimming stuff, and then off to the beach. The water was clean as tap water and swimming with the fish was good fun. I went all the way out to the buoy on my inflatable ring. I nearly shat myself though… never been so scared of anything in my life. I kept on hearing the Jams themetune and thought I saw jellyfish everywhere I turned. I relaxed though, and paddled back to the safety of my towel on the beach where we ate Maxibon cookie Ice-Creams in the belting sun while watching little kids killing fish in their buckets. Strangely amusing.

After a few hours, the heat was getting to us so we came back to the air-conditioned hotel for a drink. Bryan relaxed upstairs while I had a swim in the pool downstairs and sat for a while listening to my iPod.

So here I am… i’ll shoot upstairs now and have another glass of wine, and then we’ll tootle off for dinner somewhere.

You’d be proud of me parents… I haven’t eaten dinner in the same place more than once since we got here. I’m trying plenty of new things!!!
